I remember reading about it on a flight from Boston to Orlando in a PC Gamer magazine. The premise is you are a soldier in the Civil War. Just before you are killed, you are plucked from the time line and told you aren’t supposed to be there. That you are from the future and an experiment was being conducted on you. You are then tasked to find and rescue others like you. From what I’ve seen this will take you through Pompeii, the Civil War and WWI just to name a few.
