It’s great to know that social progress is still behind–and will, most likely, always be behind. We just can’t get over ourselves that someone else is happier than us.

Since I’ve been pretty much crazy busy with work due to the Olympicos and playing legal counsel and writer, I haven’t been up to date with the whole current events thing.

So, I was really surprised when I heard that Russia and Georgia were fighting, people making such big deals about the ‘replacement’ Chinese singer, more fires, and even more retarded money and energy spent on retarded things!!

Like, c’mon people, don’t you have better things to do?? For instance, your kid is crying in the corner because YOU don’t pay enough attention to him/her. Your dog is whimpering in the night because you forgot to feed him. Your husband/wife is cheating on you because you’re either an imbecile or don’t realize they don’t love you anymore!

But, really. Why do we, as humans, believe that it is in our duty nature to get involved with other people’s lives?? Okay, I give some leeway to the whole Russia/Georgia thing because I don’t know their history; but the little girl lip singing in the Opening Ceremony? Or how about, what I just stumbled upon, more opponents in the same-sex marriage.

Okay, I get you don’t agree with their lifestyle and that it’s probably still weird to see them together; but spending your time LIFE, your money and other people’s money (INCLUDING MINE) to stop them from being together??? Do they really bother you that much?? I mean, in essence, it’s pretty much the same when you see a heterosexual couple sucking face, etc…it’s just AS disgusting. Sorry, regardless of your sexual orientation, I don’t want to see how intimate you two can get in PUBLIC. It’s called, “Get a room.”

Marriage is supposed to be about a bond so deep that “words can’t truly describe this love” between two people (or things if you’re into that); but the point is, it’s still about love or what love is supposed to stand for. I believe that over 90% of the people in this world will never truly hold onto the “love so deep I can’t explain”. And, because you’re in the 90 percentile, you’d rather spend money/energy on making other people’s lives miserable. Ugh, disgusting. Don’t you realize that there’s so much REAL good deeds you can do with the energy/time you use??

If we’re going to try to stop same-sex marriages, we may as well try to pass laws dealing with idiots who shouldn’t marry, have kids, or <insert other stupid things they do>. But, of course we don’t, because you’re amongst that group. Shoot, I guess we’ll just have to use another tactic.

Shoot, yes, we should do that.

Okay, I’m stepping down the podium now because I realize I don’t make any sense. I’m all for fighting something you believe in; but never, ever to make someone else’s life miserable.

That’s right. I’m looking for the bones of all boneses so that I could make the ultimate Vietnamese Noodle Beef Soup, otherwise known as pho. It’s not FO as in FO sure. Or PO, as in PO-PO 5-0. Or in the words of Mr. T, “I pity the foo.” It’s pronounced “Fa” and quite frankly, it’s just yummy!

Since most soups require the best of the best bones and should be slow boiled for a long time, I figured, a DINOSAUR bone would be the BEST of the best boneses!! So, off I am to explore MONTANA in the dead heat of summer in hopes of creating my ULTIMATE SOUP.

I call it, “It’s about PHO’ing Time.”

So, wasabians, I will step back in time for almost a month and toss away the phones, internet, computers and break-up my ROCk band band, the midnite cowz. No worries, I will try to save you a teaspoon of the soup so you can enjoy it, too!!

Update: Since many people I’ve told about this trip seems to be TRIPPING….within good reason, I’ve decided to post ‘important’ info in case I end up missing in the middle of nowhere or killed, give or take a few, I am supposedly going to Ekalaka, MT from LA-USC. I presume we’ll be going through Vegas and Salt Lake City.

The organization is affiliated with USC-Natural History Museum (NHM), The DINOSAUR Institute and the grad student I heard it from is Alyssa Bell.
