Good call, little brother... for some expansion upon the theme you have raised, I refer you to the following permalink for the post I'm writing at this very moment... and in response to your incorrect use of the contraction " it's " instead of the possessive " its ", I refer you to the master of grammar himself - Strong Bad - at link number two. Scalawag.

Well, since I don't claim to be in any part of Religion, not much of the topic I can actually talk much about... But in general, people use religion/belief/whatever to deal with the unknown. They see something they can't explain, and create a complex idea about how it's existence come into play. They put so much enthusiasm that most people either completely believe, or claim to just so they don't have to listen more.

To counter those who are thinking I'm full of it, my counter argument to that would be: Where's the proof that these Deities exist anyway? Is there someone who died, experienced whatever happens afterward, then came back to life just to tell people about it's existence? Was there someone around to witness all of the miracles that most religions claim their Deities could do, then live long enough to keep it archived for others to have? The point I'm trying to get to is that no living person has experienced these events before, and that's why they fit into the class of "the unknown" and have no logical response... except for Religion, and what they've spoon-fed you.

I'sa been around. been puttin a lot of time in my L4D2 map which I will post about shortly. It's almost ready for public consumption AND will be making the rounds at PDX lan in Portland, OR this weekend. Getting it demo worthy for tonight.

Also, beliefs vs ideas. You know, I knew a girl in Boston who thought the dinosaurs were made up. the Adam and Eve stories were FACT and that Noah's ark is in a museum somewhere. This person is a teacher folks. Don't raise your kids in the Wisconsin or Rhode Island areas. I forget which she teaches at now.

Ha ha, so true... but if I am to do any real good in the world, this is the means by which I can begin refining my ideas. On a lighter note, this particular blog only took me roughly 30 minutes to type up; while working on it, I did happen to receive a tentative job offer from Northrop Grumman in Hawaii. So the spinning wheels ARE, miraculously, finding purchase.

And all of you other readers now have an idea from whence my sarcasm comes! IT'S FAMILIAL!
